I worked for over two years to organize the 2025 IEEE World Haptics Conference (WHC) as a general co-chair (with Ki-Uk Kyung) and successfully (I hope!) completed it in Suwon, Korea from July 8 to 11. WHC is a premier forum where all haptics researchers meet and share new research results and ideas, along with impressive hands-on demos. 650 people attended WHC 2025, and I am so glad that WHC seems to be back on the right track after the setback we had during the pandemic era. It was also great to see old and new friends there. Organizing WHC was one of my ways to repay to the international haptics community, and I feel like I've done the duty!
